Benefits Of Botox
Botox is a popular, non-surgical cosmetic treatment that reduces fine lines and wrinkles by temporarily freezing facial muscles. This 10-minute treatment offers visible results within one to two days. Botox usually lasts 4-6 months and is best for those who want to minimize crow’s feet, frown lines, and laugh lines.

Botox reduces fine lines and wrinkles by temporarily freezing facial muscles. Treatments typically last around 10 minutes. Results will be visible within two days of treatment and will last up to six months.
The treatment area may have an optional numbing cream or topical anesthesia applied to it.
The doctor will draw a few marks on the injection sites around your treatment area.
With a thin needle, either Botox or Meditoxin is injected into the treatment area.
It is common to experience redness, swelling, and soreness around the injection site following treatment. However, those symptoms are only temporary and should disappear quickly.
Do not massage or pick at the injection site. Keep alcohol consumption to a minimum. Avoid any extra skin treatment (Like facials) for at least 24 hours. Do not engage in strenuous workouts; this can cause bruising. Avoid sunbathing, tanning, and hot tubs for a few days to minimize swelling.
The injections block nerve signals to the muscles of your face, preventing them from contracting. Because they are unable to contract, the muscles are temporarily frozen in a relaxed position that reduces the appearance of wrinkles in the skin.
Yes, fillers assist in collagen production. When dermal fillers are injected, they cause a reaction that helps to stimulate collagen and plump the area from within the face.
The most commonly treated areas include both vertical and horizontal forehead lines and wrinkles around the eyes known as "crow's feet". Botox is also effective in preventing the development of these lines in individuals who see early signs of wrinkling. If administered properly, Botox can treat a wide variety of concerns. Examples include lines around the mouth, chin dimpling, neckbands, and enlarged masseter muscles. Botox will not improve sagging skin, damage from sun exposure, or lines not caused by muscle contraction.
Botox treatments are billed per unit of Botox used. The number of units used depends on many factors. Different areas may require more units of Botox than others. Other factors influencing the number of units needed include a patient's gender, metabolism, and the existing strength of their facial muscles.
Visible results have been shown to last anywhere from 3-6 months. Most patients feel treatments are needed at 4-6 month intervals. With continued use, the muscle weakens and treatment is not needed as often.
