Dr. Kelly Johnson, DDS

Dr. Kelly Johnson is a board-certified orthodontist who is proud to serve families in his home state of Utah. Born and raised in Farmington, Utah, Kelly began his military career in the Utah Army National Guard during his final year of high school, beginning an incredible 32-year journey with the U.S. Army. He is passionate about creating beautiful, healthy smiles and enjoys connecting with patients and families throughout their orthodontic journey. Kelly is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Kelly graduated Magna Cum Laude from Weber State University before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in Ohio. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Fort Carson and later earned his orthodontic specialty training at the University of Louisville. During his military career, Kelly served as an orthodontist for 15 years and treated complex cases involving children, teens, and Soldiers. He also served as an Assistant Professor at the Uniformed Services University, where he trained future military orthodontists.

After 32 years of dedicated military service, including leadership as Commander of the U.S. Army Dental Health Activity-Hawaii, Kelly retired with the prestigious Legion of Merit. He is excited to be back in Utah, where he can continue helping patients achieve confident, beautiful smiles while staying close to his family and community. Outside the office, Kelly enjoys spending time with his wife and five children, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, playing sports, and enjoying a good movie together.
