Dr. Doug Bowen loves community and it shows! Raised by parents who gave back as educators, Dr. Doug was inspired to do the same as a Pediatric Dentist. He’s passionate about helping kids feel comfortable at the dentist and genuinely enjoys getting to know each family. As a dad of four, he understands the importance of gentle, compassionate care and treats every patient like his own children. Fun fact: Dr. Doug is fluent in Spanish! He is more than comfortable discussing your child’s dental needs with you in Spanish.
Dr. Doug earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alaska Anchorage before achieving his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in Puerto Rico. He then completed his specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Doug currently serves our country and community in the Alaska Army National Guard.
Dr. Doug greatly values continuing education and has spent many hours learning the newest techniques in treating pediatric patients and how to keep kids comfortable and safe during all procedures, especially during procedures involving sedation.
Outside the office, Dr. Doug loves spending time with his family and exploring the outdoors. Whether he’s hunting, fishing, or just soaking up the fresh air, Dr. Doug is excited to give back to his patients and community as a Pediatric Dentist at Professional Dental in Lehi and Eagle Mountain!
